Be sure to use an Accredited Buyers Representative (ABR®) before looking for a home. The ABR® designation is awarded to Realtors who have met the specific educational and experiential criteria needed to provide the high level quality service required by the Real Estate BUYER’S AGENT Council.
Research by the National Association of REALTORS has shown that when a Buyer’s representative is used, the prospective buyer found a home one week faster and examined three more properties than consumers who did not use a buyer’s representative.
Not all Buyer representatives are equal! Only a Buyer rep who has earned the Accredited Buyer’s Representative designation has made the extra effort to raise the bar, with additional training and experience. If you work with an ABR®, you can be confident that you’ll receive the highest lever of buyer-representation services.
Certified Residential Specialist (CRS®)
The Certified Residential Specialist, or CRS Designation, is the symbol of excellence in residential real estate. REALTORS® who have earned this credential did so by completing extensive training and by demonstrating significant experience in managing real estate transactions.
The Certified Residential Specialist (CRS) is the highest Designation awarded to sales associates in the residential sales field. Less than 4 percent of the more than 1 million REALTORS® working today can call themselves a CRS designee. This group represents the elite performers in residential real estate.
